The Meadow is a choral composition, by Tom Lane, which was commissioned by Offaly Drama Project in memory of the tens of thousands of people who entered Birr Workhouse. The Meadow composition is a beautiful haunting musical setting of textual information about the workhouse at the height of the Great Irish Famine.
