The Old School Community Exhibition Space is a community based project to convert an empty school into an exhibition space.

The Old School, Scariff is located in the centre of Scariff town. It has double height ceilings, a gated garden and barn-door style access for large artworks, it is perfect for renovating and use as a community exhibition space. 

The project will be managed by a collective of Clare based mother artists who will hold their inaugural exhibition in the space as part of the official launch. The launch will be during the Scariff Harbour Festival on the August Bank Holiday weekend. 

This project is a pioneering step to long term vision of a community arts centre for Scarrif.
