The Poets' Library is a new monthly poetry workshop series that invites participants to engage deeply with a single poem and the creative process behind it. Each session features a guest poet who explores one impactful poem from their own work, revealing its origins, influences, techniques and development as a practical tool for learning and creative inspiration.

In contrast to traditional readings and workshops that introduce many poems at once, The Poets' Library focuses on one poem in depth. This approach encourages close reading, reflection and discussion, allowing participants to develop a richer understanding of poetic craft while building confidence in their own creative practice. Through guided writing exercises and facilitated exploration, participants learn how specific techniques can be applied to their own work.

The programme takes an inclusive and experiential approach to learning, combining discussion, writing, movement, multimedia and multi-sensory activities to create an engaging and accessible environment for participants of all experience levels. Sessions are designed to be welcoming, relaxed and supportive, encouraging curiosity, creativity and experimentation.
