The Writer's Room - an Invitation to Story is a series of creative writing workshops facilitated by author Helen Blackhurst.

These six creative writing workshops will explore the writing process, how we sustain ourselves as writers and deepen our writing experience. We will look at key areas of craft for fiction and memoir writing. How do we bring our stories to life? How can our characters breathe on the page? What is it we want to tell? There will be space to examine writing challenges as well as the opportunity to develop new and existing work through a range of creative writing techniques. 

Open to all writers.
