Sexual Health West Chair the Fast Track Cities Galway Steering Group, and also host a regional HIV Project Manager post. The aim of this post is to ensure that Galway & the West of Ireland contributes to the development of a national HIV Action Plan for Ireland. We would therefore like to apply for funding to have Wall of Positivity mural here in Galway City — a project designed to celebrate resilience, promote inclusion, and help combat HIV-related stigma through public art.

We would like to apply for funding for a community art workshops to inform the mural. For People Living with HIV in Galway to be able to engage in art activities where they can explore and develop the ideas for the HIV Stigma related mural. The project will ensure Community engagement and support; and will need funding for venue / location for mural, travel, food, hiring artist, art supplies.

The project will include: Installation (co-contribution: materials, equipment, fees)
Documentation (co-contribution: stills and videographer, editing)
Consultation workshop (artist fee, venue, refreshments)
