Culture Connect: Waterford Walls Public Engagement Programme

Running from August 8–17, Culture Connect is a four-event programme designed to deepen public engagement with Waterford’s mural collection and highlight the city as a European hub for public art.

• Film Screening – Faces/Places (Waterford Gallery of Art) introduces street art to new audiences through a humorous French documentary on wheat paste posters.
• Talking To The Walls III – A panel discussion featuring four Waterford Walls artists, hosted by Shane O’Driscoll, with updates on the mementoArtem archival project.
• Breaking Showcase x Recession Squad – A breakdancing showcase at Thomas Street Pocket Park with battles, cyphers, and music, fostering community connections.
