Through a consultation with a teen group from Gorey Youth Needs, writing and performance were identified as creative activities, which the young people would like to explore.  Acting, creative writing and dance were seen to develop imagination, trust and confidence, all of which were desirable outcomes for the group.  Experienced theatre practitioner and mindfulness expert, Amy Redmond. will lead the group through weekly performance and writing workshops, over a 3-month period.  The sessions will culminate in a showcase of new creative work performed by the group. Dates for the showcase will be announced in the Autumn.
