The project involves an open call to find 5-6 pairs of participants consisting of a parent and 1 child (between 8 and 12 y.o) who would attend a creative workshop around digital design and fabrication. We would set a brief for each pair to design a create an innovative project and we would help them thru all stages from research, design, 3D modeling, model making and final prototpying using our laser cutter, 3D printers, vinyl cutter and other Fablab technologies. We hope that everyone involved would benefit hugely from the project and learn all about the world of product design and digital fabrication. The 3 Fablab Manorhamilton Staff consisting of Stuart Lawn, Alastair Farrell and Leo Scarff would deliver the project over 6 weeks from early September at the W8 Training Space in Manorhamilton
