Make or Break

Make or Break is a creative wellbeing initiative developed by Cork County Council in partnership with Kerry County Council, the HSE Southwest, and Crawford Art Gallery. The project brings professional artists into workplaces, offering employees the chance to explore creative activities such as printmaking, embroidery, drawing, clay sculpting, and bookbinding. Uniquely designed to fit into the working day, the workshops take place during break times, making creativity accessible to everyone regardless of skill level.

The programme aims to support positive mental health, reduce stress, and strengthen social connections among colleagues. By engaging in enjoyable and hands-on artistic experiences, participants not only discover new talents but also benefit from increased relaxation and team cohesion.

Make or Break is recognised as an innovative model for workplace wellbeing, highlighting the power of creativity to enhance both individual wellbeing and organisational culture.
