The third annual Open Day at Chapel Hill School of Art in collaboration with Cork Craft Month and Heritage Week is a celebration of the creative talent in our community and the power of creativity to engage, empower and benefit everyone.

A variety of demonstrations, workshops, talks and have a go experiences for all ages at Chapel Hill showcases the diversity and wealth of talent that surrounds us. We wish to showcase our amenity and expand our communities exposure to creativity as a route to wellbeing with Open Day '23.

The event will also promote the offering of Art classes and workshops for our winter class schedule. In an effort to engage a broad spectrum of the community as possible Open Day 2023 will host a range of indoor and outdoor activities across our 1.3 arcre property. The event will include: 

Live music and a dance workshop for young and old from the Fresh Air Collective.

Circus Performance for all from The Up and At Ems performance Ensemble, have a go juggling and acrobatic activities for adults and children. 

Art Workshops for kids and adults

• Crazy creatures Drop in Drawing with Art teachers and- Muireann Kelleher.
• Textile Weaving - Weaving Space & Place with Irish yarns with Ann Mechenlich. 
• Pottery Throwdown
