To celebrate Bealtaine, Cork County Council Library and Arts Service is delighted to offer creative writers over 50 and living in County Cork, an opportunity to attend an online creative writing workshop, presented by well-known author and intrepid traveller Manchán Magan on May 26th, 2021.

Participants will learn how to identify the story they most wish to tell, and to shape it into a series of absorbing anecdotes and insights that will charm, engage and excite readers. They will create short, potent pieces of writing for either personal memoir, travel journalism or literature - transforming the sights, sounds and soul of a journey into engaging prose.
